Digging Snow on Ridge Road

 The Reform Church on Hibbert Lane before dry rot claimed its steeple. Not particularly clear but it's people watching a lacrosse match from Church Lane looking over open fields towards Chapel House Farm
A church procession down Stockport Road. Note how the Hollins Mill dominates the centre of Marple. A badly damaged early picture of the Crown at Hawk Green. Another early picture. This time it is of the Hare & Hounds at Mill Brow.
Part of the lime kilns before conversion to a house. No shortage of meat here. Now the pram shop on Church Lane You can't see this view of Hollins Terrace now because of the telephone exchange.
