Mellor Church - Note that in this early picture, taken before removal of the balcolny, there are still 2 rows of windows. You can clearly see by the new stonework in this photo that the windows have been replaced for the present ones.

This picture and the next are taken from a letter head from Dove Bank Mill, Mellor. Dove Bank Mill - it's hard to believe that a mill of this size once stood in the middle of Moorend
